International Yoga Day Celebrations

Report of our school's participation in International Yoga Day, which was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 21st June 2025.

As you all know, International Yoga Day is observed every year to highlight the importance of yoga in our daily lives. This year, students from our school actively participated in the celebrations held on our campus/open ground/community center.

Our event began with a serene prayer followed by a warm welcome of our yoga trainer, who guided us throughout the session. Students from various classes performed different yoga postures such as:

  • Tadasana (Mountain Pose)

  • Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)

  • Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)

  • Padmasana (Lotus Pose)

The yoga trainer also took a special moment to explain the significance of yoga. She emphasized how yoga is not just a physical exercise but a complete science of well-being. Practicing yoga helps improve concentration, boosts immunity, increases flexibility, and reduces stress — all of which are especially helpful for students like us.

Students participated with dedication and maintained discipline throughout the event. It was truly a moment of pride to see our young learners embracing such a valuable tradition that originated from our own country, India.
